Arrests after allegedly attacked teen scooter house

Three teenagers were arrested after a 15-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed while driving home on his scooter in Melbourne.

The boy was allegedly attacked by a group of up to 10 teenagers while driving down Cardigan Street in Carlton at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Sergeant Julie-Anne Newman claimed there was an altercation between the boy and the teenagers before the 15-year-old was attacked and stabbed to death.

Detectives came across two teenagers, ages 15 and 16, when they raided a house in Tarneit on Sunday afternoon.

A third boy, aged 14, was arrested late Sunday evening.

The trio have been charged with a number of criminal offenses, including willful willful serious injury.

All three were tried in a children’s court on Monday.

The victim was taken to hospital in stable condition following the alleged attack.

Melbourne Criminal Investigation detectives said the investigation was still ongoing.
