AirPods three is claimed to be in manufacturing, however when will Apple announce it?

We can’t deny that yesterday’s Apple event was packed with great devices. Cupertino has introduced four new iPhone 13 models, a new Apple Watch Series 7 and two new iPad models. Unfortunately, we didn’t get everything we’ve been waiting for as rumors suggested we’d see the new AirPods 3 as well. However, the latest information claims that these new wireless earbuds are already in production.

I know a lot of Apple users are currently excited about everything that was revealed during the California Streaming event. However, there are some, if not many, who are expecting the new AirPods 3 to be announced. Anyway, the new AirPods might still be around. New information from the Taiwanese publication Digitimes suggests that suppliers have slowly started shipping the new generation AirPods.

The paywall preview of this report suggests that the AirPods 3 are already in production, which means the new AirPods will definitely be announced before the end of 2021. However, we are not sure if Apple will wait until the second fall event to reveal it or get it out with a press release through the Apple Newsroom. So now we just have to wait.

We’ve had rumors of AirPods 3 for a while. Some of them suggest that their production started last month, which led many of us to believe that they would arrive during the last Apple event. I mean, we even got information from Ming-Chi Kuo suggesting that Apple is ready to launch the new AirPods.

We also heard that they would be more expensive than their predecessors, so Apple could keep selling the current generation of earbuds at a lower price. Keep in mind that the second generation AirPods launched as early as 2019 at $ 159 with a wired charging case, but you had to pay $ 199 to get them with a wireless charging case. I’m just curious about the final price of these new AirPods 3 as they may have to compete against the new Beats studio noise canceling earbuds for $ 150. The question still remains when Apple will announce them.
